Only the choicest cuts have made the shortlist for the British Kebab Awards 2018

Kebab shops from all over Wales have been pita'd against each other in the bid to find the best in the country.

A shortlist of 10 finalists has been announced ahead of the British Kebab Awards in London next month, with last year's winner - Cardiff's Mezza Luna - in the running for glory once again.

Now in its sixth year, British Kebab Awards 2018 includes categories for Chef of the Year , Customer Satisfaction, Best Value, Best Takeaway and Best Delivery.

The Welsh nominees, however, are as follows...

Pasha Takeaway

"Kebab is fast becoming the nation’s favourite food so it is only right that the superheroes behind this phenomenon are recognised," said the awards' founder Ibrahim Dogus.

"This, the sixth year of the competition, is the toughest. Every British Kebab Award finalist should be congratulated for making it through in our most hotly contested year yet."
