“This is a quality kebab restaurant, it’s one of the best I know.

“I don’t eat anywhere else, I eat here seven days a week.”

Mr Asam added: “They have invited us to the annual ceremony next month. I think we will win.

“You cannot even find this quality meat in butchers, it is very fresh.

“We work hard and you have to have good communication skills as well good quality food.”

Ibrahim Dogus, director founder of the British Kebab Awards, said: “Now in their third year, the British Kebab Awards are going from strength to strength.

“It is fantastic that we have this opportunity to recognise the work of businesses across the country, such as Bodrum Kebab in Oxford, as well as highlight how varied the British kebab industry is, and the important contribution it makes to the economy.”
